Ex-Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur believes Babar Azam will “be fine” as Twenty20 captain and isn’t doomed to fail.
Azam replaced Sarfaraz Ahmed as captain, and is currently in the midst of his first assignment – a three-match Twenty20 series against Australia.
Pakistan trail 1-0 going into the third and final match in Perth on Friday.
“I think Babar will be fine as captain, he’ll figure it out,” Arthur was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
