Pakistan Twenty20 captain Babar Azam believes that the pace trio of Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hasnain and Muhammad Musa will play a crucial role in the Twenty20 series against Australia.
Amir will likely spearhead Pakistan’s bowling attack, while Hasnain has taken three wickets in three Twenty20 Internationals at an average of 35. However, it should be noted that all of his wickets came when he took a hat-trick against Sri Lanka in Lahore earlier this month.
As for Musa, he has yet to make his international debut, but has played nine Twenty20 games, where he has taken 12 wickets at an average of 25.33.
“Australian pitches will offer significant bounce. We have prepared for that. Our pace attack is very good. Young pacers Muhammad Musa and Mohammad Hasnain will be there along with the experienced Mohammad Amir,” he was quoted as saying by cricketpakistan.com.pk. “We will get a chance to acclimatise to the conditions of Australia for the World T20.”
Pakistan’s three-match Twenty20 series against Australia will be held from November 3 to 8.
