Former Pakistan seamer Shoaib Akhtar believes that the selectors made a huge mistake in dropping Sarfaraz Ahmed for the forthcoming Twenty20 series against Australia.
Not only was Sarfaraz dropped for the entire series, which consists of three Twenty20 Internationals from November 3 to 8, and two Tests from November 21 to December 3, he was also sacked as Test and Twenty20 captain.

Azhar Ali replaced him as Test captain, while Babar Azam took over as Twenty20 skipper.
“Former skipper Sarfaraz has been dropped. I think it is not the right decision to drop him as he has a good T20 record,” he said on his YouTube channel as quoted by the Business Recorder.
