Abid Ali revealed that Ben Stokes and David Warner are his favourite cricketers right now

Pakistan batsman Abid Ali has revealed that England all-rounder Ben Stokes and Australia opener David Warner are his favourite players right now.

Abid, who scored a superb century against Australia in his ODI debut, made the revelation while talking to The Nation.

Stokes was England’s World Cup hero as he scored an unbeaten 84 in the final against New Zealand and made nine runs off four balls in the Super Over.

England eventually beat New Zealand to be crowned World Cup champions for the first time in history.

As for Warner, he had a superb campaign as well as he was the second-highest scorer in the tournament with 647 runs in 10 matches, which included three centuries and three fifties, at an average of 71.88.
