Legendary Pakistan leg-spinner Abdul Qadir believes that the national team don’t need a head coach.

Qadir pointed out that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should instead hire a specialist batting, bowling and fielding coaches.

Qadir’s comments come after there has been a lot of speculation about Mickey Arthur’s future as his contract as head coach expired after the World Cup.

Most reports indicate that he will be sacked.

“I believe that if you have specialized batting, bowling and fielding coaches then there is no need to appoint a head over them,” Qadir was quoted as saying by The Nation.
