Legendary Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has made it clear that he has no plans to form his own political party.
However, while speaking on ARY’s World Cup show Har Lamha Purjosh, Afridi said that there is a 50 percent chance he will get involved in politics.
Afridi also praised World Cup winning captain Imran Khan’s efforts in politics and getting elected as Prime Minister, but said it was too early to say how the government has performed under Imran.
Afridi, who also used to captain Pakistan, has been following the national team’s World Cup campaign closely.
Pakistan defeated Afghanistan at Headingley on Saturday, but they will have now to beat Bangladesh at Lord’s on Friday to have any chance of reaching the World Cup semi-finals.
