Ehsan Mani on Pakistan’s World Cup celebrations against India: “There could be sporadic celebrations in case of a hundred, like Misbah-ul Haq’s push-ups during the Lord’s Test in 2016 which was a tribute to the army, but nothing different at the fall of a wicket”

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ehsan Mani has made it clear that the national team won’t celebrate wickets in a more enthusiastic fashion during their highly-anticipated World Cup clash against India.
Pakistan will play India on June 16 in Manchester, and the men in green will be looking to snap their winless streak against their arch-rivals as India have triumphed in their six World Cup meetings to date.
However, Pakistan can take confidence from the fact that they demolished India by 180 runs in the Champions Trophy final in 2017.
Despite their winless streak against India at the World Cup, Mani reiterated that the men in green won’t go over the top with their celebrations upon taking a wicket.
However, if batsmen score hundred, he didn’t rule out “sporadic celebrations”.
Ehsan Mani "We will not resort to what the other party has done. There could be sporadic celebrations in case of a hundred, like Misbah-ul Haq’s push-ups during the Lord’s Test in 2016 which was a tribute to the army, but nothing different at the fall of a wicket" #IndvPak #CWC19
