Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir admitted that he has been highly impressed with the pace duo of Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz.

Amir noted that both Hasan and Wahab have been “performing well” over the last month-and-a-half.

However, in Pakistan’s World Cup opener against the West Indies, which they lost by seven wickets, Hasan conceded 39 runs off four overs, while Wahab gave away 40 runs off 3.4 overs.

Amir, on the other hand, finished with figures of 3-26 off six overs.

“Both Hasan Ali and Wahab are very good; we all know that Hasan has been performing well for past one-and-a-half months, and Wahab Riaz has been performing well also,” Amir was quoted as saying by PakPassion.

Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against hosts England in Nottingham on Monday.
