Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi feels that the national team’s strength going into the World Cup is their bowling.

Pakistan have only won the World Cup once before, which came when the country’s current Prime Minister Imran Khan led the side to victory in 1992.

The men in green’s pace attack will consist of Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Junaid Khan and Mohammad Hasnain.

As for the spin attack, is includes Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik.

“Bowling has always been our strength so nothing to worry in that department,” Afridi was quoted as saying by The National.

Pakistan will begin their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
