Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur has revealed that the national team are aiming to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup, which begins in England and Wales next month.
Pakistan will have to be at their very best to reach the last four at the showpiece event.
The men in green will kick off their campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
“We are well prepared and full of confidence,” Arthur was quoted as saying by cricketpakistan.com.pk. “We are targeting a spot in the semi-finals of the event. We have to bring all our capabilities to produce results in our favour.”
While Pakistan haven’t been in the best of form in ODI cricket as of late, they can take confidence from the fact that they won the Champions Trophy in England in 2017.
