Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed is pleased that his side are underdogs going into the World Cup as they tend to “get into trouble” if they are branded as the favourites.

While Sarfraz may see his team as underdogs, many other people see them as one of the frontrunners to win the event.

However, Sarfraz is determined to ensure that his side keep their feet planted firmly on the ground in order to ensure they don’t have a disappointing World Cup campaign.

“We get into trouble if we go as favourites so we’re going as underdogs, we have a good team,” Sarfraz was quoted as saying by PakPassion.

Pakistan will kick off their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
