Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez was over the moon to have picked in the country’s squad for the World Cup, which begins in England and Wales next month.
There were doubts about Hafeez’s fitness prior to the squad announcement as he recently underwent a second operation on his thumb.
However, he passed the yo-yo test all the players had to and was eventually selected in the 15-man squad.
But, Hafeez will have to prove he has fully recovered from the injury before the World Cup begins on May 30.
