Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed has made it clear that relations between him and head coach Mickey Arthur are “very good”.
Pakistan have struggled as of late, as they were whitewashed 3-0 during their Test series in South Africa.
They also tasted defeat in the ODI series and Twenty20 series that followed, losing 3-2 and 2-1 respectively.
The men in green then fell to Australia in the recent ODI series in the United Arab Emirates, where they were whitewashed 5-0.
Despite this, Sarfraz reiterated that there is no animosity between him and Arthur.
“I have a very good relationship with Mickey Arthur and he tells me to focus more on the team and I will handle the rest,” Sarfraz was quoted as saying by PakPassion. “Mickey comes to the forefront so that the team and captain can focus on their game.
“All outside pressures are tackled by Mickey, whilst I take care of issues inside the ground.”
