Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed firmly believes that pace bowler Mohammad Hasnain can become a “good fast bowler” and “can do well for Pakistan”.
Hasnain made his international debut during the recent ODI series against Australia, where he took two wickets in three matches at an average of 78.
Prior to being called up to the national team, Hasnain starred in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he claimed 12 wickets in seven games at an average of 17.58.
“Mohammad Hasnain is a good prospect, which is why we put him in the side,” Sarfraz was quoted as saying by PakPassion. “We did the same with Shaheen Shah Afridi in the last PSL and we put Hasnain as an emerging player in the Pakistan side.
“Hasnain showed that he has the capability to become a good fast bowler. He was in my side during the PSL and the way he bowled in pressure games, he showed that he has talent and can do well for Pakistan.”
