Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed has admitted that he is determined to beat India in the upcoming World Cup, but made it clear that the highly-anticipated clash won’t be given priority over their other games.

Pakistan and India will go head to head on June 16 at Old Trafford in Manchester.

However, the men in green will be eager for a win, especially as they have lost to India in all six of their previous World Cup meetings.

“Fans would forgive any loss in the tournament, but they want us to win against India, it is the same situation [on] both sides of the border,” Sarfraz was quoted as saying by PakPassion. “As a captain, I would also want to win that game, but our focus will be on all the teams of the tournament, we will look to defeat India in the tournament and other teams as well.”
