Neil Wagner took a five-wicket haul as New Zealand annihilated Bangladesh by an innings and 12 runs in Wellington and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
Starting off the day on 80/3, Bangladesh added 32 runs to their overnight score before Soumya Sarkar was caught by Ross Taylor at first slip off the bowling of Trent Boult for 28.
Captain Mahmudullah and Mohammad Mithun added 40 runs to the score before Mithun was dismissed by Wagner for 47.
Wagner then removed Liton Das and Taijul Islam in quick succession, while Mustafizur Rahman was clean bowled by Boult for 16.
Mahmudullah went on to score 67, which came off 69 balls and included 12 boundaries and a six, before he was caught by Boult at fine leg off the bowling of Wagner.
Bangladesh were bowled out for 209 two balls later as Ebadat Hossain was cleaned up by Wagner for a duck.
Wagner was the pick of the bowlers with five wickets, while Boult took four and Matt Henry claimed one.
Taylor was named Man of the Match for his knock of 200.
