India pace bowler Mohammed Shami has admitted that his hopes of “reuniting” with his wife, Hasin Jahan, are all but over following all the allegations she has made against him.
Jahan has accused Shami of abusing her and having extramarital affairs with numerous women. In addition to this, she claimed that Shami wanted to commit suicide while in a previous relationship.
In regards to the allegations of abuse, Shami has been charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal intimidation.
Furthermore, Jahan recently alleged that the 28-year-old received money from a UK national, named Mohammed Bhai, through a Pakistani woman, known as Alisba, in Dubai.
Jahan even claims to have a recording of the incident and the Committee of Administrators (CoA) has asked the BCCI’s anti-corruption unit to look into it.
“All hopes of reuniting with my wife are over,” Shami told India Today. “I made every effort to save the future of my family. But Hasin said she wants to take this to court. I would have done anything to save my family.”
