Pietersen was embarrassed by the whole situation

England batsman Kevin Pietersen’s brother-in-law Samuel Taylor has been arrested by British police for possession of a sawn-off shotgun, imitation firearms and cannabis.

Samuels, who is Pietersen’s wife’s brother, appeared in court and will remain in custody until further notice.

Samuels, a former plumber, was arrested after police found a weapon buried in the woodlands surrounding Preston, Lancashire.

This is just the latest controversy to hit the South African-born England batsman, who was exiled from the national team last summer after having sent derogatory text messages about former captain Andrew Strauss and coach Andy Flower to South African players.
