A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official has made it clear that iconic fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar won’t be replacing Misbah-ul-Haq as chief selector.
Wasim Khan on Misbah-ul-Haq: “We have full confidence in Misbah even now but as is our policy we will sit down and review his one-year performance after the World T20 in Australia”

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Wasim Khan has confirmed that Misbah-ul-Haq’s performance as head coach and chief selector will be evaluated after the T20 World Cup.
“These tests were held to see whether the players have followed the procedures to maintain fitness standards given to them in the fitness camp”

Pakistan players could be fined as much as 25 per cent of their monthly wages if they fail to adhere to the fitness levels imposed by the National Cricket Academy.
