Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf has revealed that he is working hard to improve his bowling in the death overs.

As he often finds himself bowling at that crucial stage, Rauf acknowledged the need to continually develop his skills to remain as effective as possible under pressure.

Rauf added that deploying different types of deliveries in the final overs is key to keeping opposition batsmen on their toes.

“The more variety you bowl with these days, the better it is… I am working hard to make my death bowling the best it can be, focusing on where I need to get better in the death overs,” he told Geo News.

Rauf’s last international assignment was Pakistan’s three-match ODI series against Australia from May to June 2026, where he took four wickets at an average of 26.50.

The men in green recently toured England for a three-Test series, but couldn’t come away with a win as they were whitewashed 3-0.

Rauf is now playing first-class cricket in Pakistan as he is representing Pakistan Television in the President’s Trophy Grade-I.

In the match against Oil & Gas Development Company Limited, he took a five-wicket haul.

As for the ongoing game against State Bank of Pakistan, he has claimed four wickets.
