Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan said top order batsman Yasir Khan can “really dominate a game” if he gets going.
Rizwan noted that Yasir “has been batting well” lately and got to witness the 24-year-old in action while captaining Rawalpindiz in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier this year.
In eight matches, Yasir struck 206 runs, which included two fifties, at an average of 25.75 and a strike-rate of 143.05.
“Yasir Khan has been batting well; if he gets going, he can really dominate a game,” Rizwan was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
Rizwan recently featured in Pakistan’s three-Test series against England and accumulated 61 runs in two matches at an average of 15.25. He didn’t take part in the 3rd Test in Birmingham as he was one of seven players sent home prior to that match.
Yasir is now playing first-class cricket as he is representing Pakistan Television in the President’s Trophy Grade-I. In his first match against Oil & Gas Development Company Limited, he made six runs.
