Pakistan middle order batsman Kamran Ghulam has declared himself ready for an international comeback, highlighting that he has been maintaining a strike-rate of 200 lately.

Ghulam noted that international cricket is evolving rapidly and that batsmen must elevate their games to score at a quicker pace.

Having represented Pakistan in six Tests and 11 ODIs to date, Ghulam last featured in international cricket in February 2025. After putting in significant work to take his game to the next level, the 30-year-old is now keen to earn another opportunity to showcase his abilities at the international level.

“I am working very hard for modern-day cricket, and I am ready for it. Recently, my strike rate has been 200. I know that if I perform, I will earn my place in the national team. That is my focus,” he told Geo News.

Ghulam was not part of Pakistan’s squad for their recent three-Test series against England, where the men in green were battered 3-0.
