Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has revealed that he is dedicating 10 minutes to batting practice as part of his push to make significant improvements with the bat.
Abrar noted that he is focusing specifically on his batting because he wants to have a more substantial impact in ODIs and Tests, where lower order contributions can make a difference.
For the 28-year-old, this represents an area of personal growth, and he currently believes that 10 minutes of batting practice is sufficient to drive progress.
“My approach is to first improve my batting significantly. While batting is important, I currently dedicate ten minutes to it. I am preparing for batting with an eye on ODIs and Test cricket. At this stage, I feel that ten minutes of batting practice is adequate for me,” he told Geo News.
Abrar did not feature in Pakistan’s recent three-Test series against England, where the men in green were crushed 3-0.
