Pakistan all-rounder Saad Masood has expressed his desire to wear the national team jersey for a long time after making his international debut earlier this year.
Masood got the chance to play ODI cricket during the three-match series against Bangladesh in March and scored 38 runs in the only game he played.
Having made an encouraging start to his international career, the 21-year-old from Rawalpindi is ready to make the most of the opportunities he gets in the future.
“I hope to wear this jersey for a long time and continue giving my best every single day,” he was quoted as saying by TOK Sports.
Pakistan recently took on the West Indies in a two-Test series in Trinidad and Tobago, which concluded as a 1-1 draw.
They are now involved in a three-Test series against England, but already find themselves 1-0 down after losing the 1st Test in Leeds by an innings and 103 runs.
The men in green will look to bounce back in the 2nd Test, which will begin on August 27 at Lord’s.
