Tanvir Ahmed: “The national cricket team needs an aggressive all-rounder like this”

Former Pakistan speedster Tanvir Ahmed believes the men in green need an aggressive all-rounder like Aamer Jamal.
Jamal had been out of the Pakistan side for an extended period before returning during the two-Test series against the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago.
The 30-year-old was selected only for the first Test, in which he took two wickets and scored 3 and 0.
Despite his modest returns, Tanvir wants Pakistan to persist with the Mianwali-born all-rounder, particularly given the impact he made when he first played Test cricket.
“The national cricket team needs an aggressive all-rounder like this,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X.
Pakistan are now taking on England in a three-Test series, but Jamal was not included in the playing XI for the ongoing 1st Test at Headingley in Leeds.
