Mohammad Amir: “Usman Tariq will now start getting exposed. He doesn’t bowl with much pace… I said the same about Saim and Abhishek too – international cricket exposes you immediately”

Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir has predicted that mystery spinner Usman Tariq will start getting exposed in the near future.
Tariq has become the talk of the town for his unorthodox bowling action and consistent wicket-taking ability.
He has represented Pakistan in nine T20Is to date and taken 18 wickets at an average of 11.16 and an economy rate of 6.66.
Currently, he is in action for the Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred and has claimed six wickets in seven games at an average of 26.83 and an economy rate of 7.15.
Explaining why he thinks Tariq will get exposed, Amir noted that the 28-year-old doesn’t have much pace when he bowls.
He added that he had previously predicted Pakistan opener Saim Ayub and India opening batsman Abhishek Sharma would suffer the same fate.
“Usman Tariq will now start getting exposed. He doesn’t bowl with much pace… I said the same about Saim and Abhishek too – international cricket exposes you immediately,” Amir was quoted as saying by TOK Sports.
Pakistan just concluded their tour of the West Indies, which resulted in the two-Test series ending as a 1-1 draw.
Next up for them will be three Tests against England from August 19 to September 13.
