Harsha Bhogle: “I’ve been an admirer over the years of Babar Azam. It doesn’t matter which team you’re playing for – when a great player looks ordinary, it makes you feel bad. And I’m afraid Babar Azam looked ordinary”

Renowned cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle said Pakistan batsman Babar Azam is looking ordinary at the moment.
Bhogle noted that he has been “an admirer” of Azam for many years and conceded that it hurts to admit he is not the player he once was.
Azam had endured a prolonged tough phase with the bat, but is now beginning to regain his form.
“I’ve been an admirer over the years of Babar Azam. It doesn’t matter which team you’re playing for – when a great player looks ordinary, it makes you feel bad. And I’m afraid Babar Azam looked ordinary,” Bhogle was quoted as saying by Khel Shel.
Azam was recently reappointed as Pakistan’s Test captain and is now leading the team in a two-Test series against the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago.
Following this, the men in green will travel to England to play three Tests from August 19 to September 13.
