Mohammad Amir: “When Mickey Arthur and Sarfaraz Ahmed were removed from their positions, I predicted that it would be the beginning of a dark era for Pakistan cricket”

Left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Amir believes the decline of Pakistan cricket began with the removal of Sarfaraz Ahmed as captain and Mickey Arthur as head coach.
He noted that at the time, he had predicted the men in green would enter “a dark era”.
Amir added that his prediction has proven correct, claiming Pakistan continue to spiral downward rather than show signs of improvement.
“When Mickey Arthur and Sarfaraz Ahmed were removed from their positions, I predicted that it would be the beginning of a dark era for Pakistan cricket. From that point onward, Pakistan cricket would go down, not up. It has gone into decline, and it is still going down,” he was quoted as saying by ARY News.
The Pakistan team are getting ready to take on the West Indies in a two-Test series, which will be held in Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 to August 6.
After that, they will head to England to play three Tests from August 19 to September 13.
