
Pakistan batsman Sameer Minhas: “I don’t feel any pressure because of my reputation. I just play my normal game in every match”

Pakistan batting sensation Sameer Minhas said he doesn’t feel any pressure despite his reputation as an attacking player.
Minhas noted that he plans to keep playing his natural game and has no plans to change his game.
The 19-year-old recently featured in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and put his talent on full display as he amassed 349 runs in 11 matches for Islamabad United, which included three fifties, at an average of 38.77 and a strike-rate of 155.80.
“I don’t feel any pressure because of my reputation. I just play my normal game in every match,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X.
After PSL 11, Pakistan played a two-Test series against Bangladesh, which they lost 2-0, but Minhas was not part of the team.
He also didn’t get into the side for the three-match ODI series against Australia, which the men in green won 2-1.
Pakistan are now scheduled to tour the West Indies for two Tests, which will be held in Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 to August 6.
They will then head to England for three Tests from August 19 to September 13.
