Pakistan opener Sami Aslam has made it clear that he has no regrets about moving to the United States of America (USA).
Aslam took the decision in November 2020 following a frustrating, stop-start international career, during which he represented the men in green in 13 Tests and four ODIs.
The 30-year-old scored seven fifties in Tests, averaging 31.58, while he managed 78 runs in the 50-over format at an average of 19.50.
Despite effectively bringing his Pakistan career to an end, the Lahore-born batter reiterated that he stands by his decision to move to the USA.
“I don’t have any regrets about moving to the USA,” he told PakPassion.
The Pakistan team were recently in action in a two-Test series against Bangladesh, but ended up losing both matches as they were whitewashed 2-0.
Next up for them will be a three-match ODI series against Australia, which will take place in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.
