Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Usman Khan has expressed his desire to become a consistent finisher across domestic cricket, international cricket and T20 leagues.
Usman possesses significant firepower and is eager to showcase it consistently to help his team secure victories.
The 31-year-old admitted that he aims to walk off the field unbeaten after guiding his side across the finish line.
“I want to finish matches at every level. I want to go back to the dressing room after winning the game,” the Karachi native told ESPNcricinfo.
Usman recently featured in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and had an excellent campaign as he was the fourth-highest run-scorer with 389 runs in 13 matches for the Hyderabad Kingsmen, which included a century and three fifties, at an average of 35.36 and a strike-rate of 162.76.
The Pakistan team were recently in Bangladesh for a two-Test series, but ended up getting whitewashed 2-0.
Their next assignment will be a three-match ODI series against Australia in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.
