Aamer Yamin: “As long as any player comes into the team without playing first-class and without performing, he will not be successful in international cricket. This will be 100% exposed”

Pakistan all-rounder Aamer Yamin doesn’t think batsman Khawaja Nafay will be successful in international cricket if he doesn’t play more first-class cricket.
Yamin’s comments come after Nafay has played four T20Is, where he has amassed 54 runs at an average of 13.50 and a strike-rate of 154.28.
In first-class cricket, the 24-year-old has only played five matches and accumulated 143 runs, which includes a top score of 103 not out, at an average of 20.42.
Given his limited red-ball experience so far, Yamin feels Nafay would benefit from playing more first-class cricket, warning that he otherwise risks being exposed at the international level.
“As long as any player comes into the team without playing first-class and without performing, he will not be successful in international cricket. This will be 100% exposed,” he said on X.
Pakistan just finished playing a two-Test series against Bangladesh, which they lost 2-0, but Nafay was not included in the squad.
Next up for the men in green will be a three-match ODI series against Australia, which will take place in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.
