Australia opening batsman David Warner said Pakistan fast bowler Zaman Khan bowls like a four-year-old as the ball “stays so low”.

Warner made the remarks during the recent Big Bash League (BBL), where he captained Sydney Thunder, while Zaman represented the Brisbane Heat.

Zaman joined the Heat as a replacement for fellow Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi and picked up two wickets in three matches at an average of 41 and an economy rate of 8.20.

“Like a four-year-old bowling. It stays so low,” Warner was quoted as saying in a video posted by the BBL on X.

Interestingly, Zaman did not feature in the recently-concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL), which was won by the Peshawar Zalmi.

He also wasn’t picked for Pakistan’s ongoing tour of Bangladesh, where they find themselves trailing 1-0 in the Test series after losing the 1st Test in Mirpur by 104 runs.

The 2nd Test began on May 16 in Sylhet.
