Former Pakistan all-rounder Yasir Arafat believes batsman Khawaja Nafay is “a very talented player”.
Nafay has represented Pakistan in four T20Is to date and scored 54 runs at an average of 13.50 and a strike-rate of 154.28.
He recently featured for Quetta Gladiators in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL) but endured a difficult campaign, managing just 77 runs in eight matches at an average of 9.62 and a strike-rate of 124.19.
Despite his underwhelming performance in PSL 11, Arafat still sees significant potential in the 24-year-old.
“I found Khawaja Nafay to be a very talented player,” he told PakPassion.
Pakistan are now touring Bangladesh for two Tests, but Nafay was not picked in the squad.
The men in green lost the 1st Test by 104 runs and will look to rebound in the 2nd Test, which starts on May 16 in Sylhet.
