Legendary Australia fast bowler Brett Lee really likes Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf, who has previously bowled at speeds over 150 kph.
Lee’s praise for Rauf came when he included him in his all-time Asian T20I team.
Rauf has long been one of Pakistan’s first-choice seamers as not only does he trouble batsmen with his speed, but he consistently takes wickets as well.
Lee also appreciates the way the 31-year-old bowls at the death, acknowledging that it is a particularly tough skill to perfect.
“Haris Rauf has got the pace and balls at the death,” he told Fox Sports as quoted by A Sports.
Rauf recently played in Pakistan’s T20I tri-series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Afghanistan, where he claimed four wickets in two games at an average of 17.25 and an economy rate of 10.09.
He is now involved in the 2025 Asia Cup, which is being held in the UAE.
In four matches, he has picked up nine wickets at an average of 12.77 and an economy rate of 7.84.
Pakistan triumphed over Oman and the UAE in the group stage, but lost to India as well.
They were beaten by India again in the Super Four before fighting back to take down Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, which secured them a spot in the final.
Pakistan will face India in the Asia Cup final on September 28 in Dubai.
