Pakistan batsman Sahibzada Farhan has pointed out that whenever he scores runs, the men in green tend to win.
Farhan has been in excellent form as of late and has become a key member of the T20I squad.
In the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in Lahore, he struck 75 runs in two games, which included a career-best knock of 74, at an average of 37.50 and a strike-rate of 166.66.
Pakistan then travelled to Bangladesh for another three-match T20I series and Farhan blasted 63 runs in the one game he featured in.
The 29-year-old continued to impress in the three-match T20I series against the West Indies as he made 91 runs, which included a top score of 74, at an average of 30.33 and a strike-rate of 126.38.
As for the T20I tri-series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Afghanistan, he accumulated 63 runs in five matches at an average of 12.60 and a strike-rate of 150.
“Whenever I score runs, Pakistan usually wins – and that makes me very happy,” Farhan, who hails from Charsadda, was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The men in green are now featuring in the 2025 Asia Cup, which is being held in the UAE.
In the two matches he has played so far, Farhan has scored 69 runs at an average of 34.50 and a strike-rate of 94.52.
Pakistan kicked things off with a 93-run win over Oman before suffering a seven-wicket defeat to India.
Next up for them will be a clash against the UAE on September 17 in Dubai.
