Pakistan batsman Sahibzada Farhan has announced that “this is just the beginning” of his dominant streak as he aims to “keep pushing to improve”.

Farhan has been in superb form lately, both at the domestic level and in international cricket.

During the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), he was the highest run-scorer with 449 runs in 12 games for Islamabad United, which included a century and three fifties, at an average of 37.41 and a strike-rate of 152.20.

Following this, he played in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and made 75 runs in two games, which included a career-best knock of 74, at an average of 37.50 and a strike-rate of 166.66.

The 29-year-old maintained his momentum during Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh, which consisted of three T20Is, as he smashed 63 runs in the one match he played.

“I believe I’ve ticked most of the boxes. My domestic cricket experience before franchise cricket taught me the standards required to succeed internationally. This is just the beginning – I’ll keep pushing to improve and work even harder,” Farhan was quoted as saying by A Sports.

Pakistan are now touring the West Indies for three T20Is and three ODIs.

In the T20I series, Farhan finished with 91 runs, which included a top score of 74, at an average of 30.33 and a strike-rate of 126.38.

Pakistan won the T20I series 2-1.

The ODI series will begin on August 9 in Trinidad.
