Pakistan left-arm speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi has made it clear that he is “not leaving any format”.
Afridi insisted that he remains committed to representing his country in all three formats and vowed to do so “as long as I’m breathing”.
“I’m not leaving any format. As long as I’m breathing, I’ll play all formats,” he told Geo News.
The 25-year-old recently captained the Lahore Qalandars in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and was the highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 19 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 16.42 and an economy rate of 7.76.
Despite his magnificent performance with the ball and leading the Qalandars to the title, Afridi was not picked for Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in Lahore.
He was also left out for the tour of Bangladesh, where the men in green lost the T20I series 2-1.
