Mushtaq Ahmed thinks Pakistan have four excellent spinners in Sufiyan Muqeem, Mehran Mumtaz, Arif Yaqoob and Maaz Sadaqat.

Muqeem, Yaqoob and Sadaqat all played for the Peshawar Zalmi in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is the franchise Mushtaq was the spin bowling coach of.

Muqeem took one wicket in three games at an average of 107 and an economy rate of 9.72.

Yaqoob finished with six wickets in four matches at an average of 15.16 and an economy rate of 6.50.

As for Sadaqat, he claimed two wickets in four games at an average of six and an economy rate of four.

Sadaqat also scored 78 runs, which included a top score of 55, at an average of 39 and a strike-rate of 165.95.

Even though Mumtaz didn’t feature in PSL 10, Mushtaq rates him as highly as Muqeem, Yaqoob and Sadaqat.

“All four spinners are excellent,” he was quoted as saying by Geo Super.

After PSL 10, Pakistan faced Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series in Lahore and won 3-0.

They then travelled to Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series, but were defeated 2-1.

Pakistan are now touring the West Indies for three T20Is and three ODIs.

They are 1-0 up in the T20I series after winning the first match by 14 runs.

The 2nd T20I will be played on August 3 in Lauderhill.
