Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir said displaying aggressive body language is one of the keys of fast bowling and “the real beauty of cricket”.

He noted that it helps in taking wickets as it can unnerve opposition batsmen, but it is also “what fans want to watch as well”.

Amir put his attacking body language and style of bowling on full display in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), and reaped the rewards as he took 13 wickets in nine matches for the Quetta Gladiators at an average of 18.07 and an economy rate of 7.79.

“Aggressive body language of a fast bowler is the real beauty of cricket and this is what fans want to watch as well,” the 33-year-old from Gujar Khan was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X, formerly known as Twitter.

After the conclusion of PSL 10, Pakistan faced Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series in Lahore, which they won 3-0.

The men in green then toured Bangladesh for another three-match T20I series, but failed to replicate their success as they were beaten 2-1.

Pakistan are now touring the West Indies for three T20I and three ODIs.
