Sikandar Raza: “He is now taking wickets consistently”

Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza has been highly impressed with Pakistan pace bowler Haris Rauf’s wicket-taking skills as of late.
Rauf has been one of Pakistan’s top speedsters in limited overs cricket lately as he has consistently delivered breakthroughs when bowling.
This was also the case during the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) as Rauf helped the Lahore Qalandars win the title by being the joint second-highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 25.50 and an economy rate of 10.28.
Afterwards, he featured in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in Lahore and finished with one wicket in two games at an average of 59 and an economy rate of 11.80.
The men in green then toured Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series, which they lost 2-1, but Rauf wasn’t part of the squad.
“He is now taking wickets consistently,” Raza was quoted as saying by Geo Super.
Next up for Rauf and the Pakistan team will be a tour of the West Indies, which will comprise three T20Is and three ODIs that will be played from August 1 to 12.
