Pakistan batsman Sahibzada Farhan is on a mission to boost his strike-rate as he wants to pose even more of a threat to opposition teams.
Farhan has been absolutely phenomenal lately as he has scoring runs non-stop.
In the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), he finished as the highest run-scorer with 449 runs in 12 games for Islamabad United, which included a hundred and three half-centuries, at an average of 37.41 and a strike-rate of 152.20.
After this, he featured in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in Lahore and amassed 75 runs in two games, which included a career-best knock of 74, at an average of 37.50 and a strike-rate of 166.66.
He continued his good run of form during Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh as he struck 63 runs in the one T20I he played.
With the runs flowing for the 29-year-old, he is determined to start scoring faster in order to have a greater impact.
“I’m now focusing on improving my strike-rate,” the Charsadda native was quoted as saying by Geo Super.
Farhan’s next assignment will be Pakistan’s tour of the West Indies, which will consist of three T20Is and three ODIs that will be held from August 1 to 12.
