Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha admitted that big-hitting batsman Sahibzada Farhan’s “current form can’t go unnoticed”.
Farhan has been in red-hot form lately and has become the talk of the town, given the number of centuries he has racked up.
The 29-year-old was the highest run-scorer in the National T20 Cup with 605 runs in seven matches for Peshawar Region, which included three centuries and two fifties, at an incredible average of 121 and a strike-rate of 189.65.
Following that, the Charsadda native maintained his momentum in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) as he topped the run scoring chart once again.
In 12 games for Islamabad United, Farhan accumulated 449 runs, which included a hundred and three half-centuries, at an average of 37.41 and a strike-rate of 152.20.
With the number of big scores Farhan has put up, Salman conceded that it is impossible to ignore what he has been doing.
“Farhan’s current form can’t go unnoticed,” he told Geo News quoted as quoted by NDTV.
Following the conclusion of PSL 10, Farhan featured in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and made 75 runs in two games, which included a career-best knock of 74, at an average of 37.50 and a strike-rate of 166.66.
The men in green won the series 3-0.
Farhan will look to maintain his momentum with the bat when Pakistan take on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series in Mirpur from July 20 to 24.
