Pakistan T20I vice-captain Shadab Khan said pace bowler Hasan Ali is “reaping the rewards” of his hard work as he is back with a bang.
Hasan has picking up plenty of wickets lately, which opened the door for him to make an international comeback.
During the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), the 30-year-old from Gujranwala finished as the joint second-highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets in 10 matches for the Karachi Kings at an average of 20.47 and an economy rate of 9.03.
“Hasan Ali worked really hard last year and is now reaping the rewards of that effort,” Shadab was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Following the conclusion of PSL 10, Hasan was recalled to the Pakistan team and did extremely well in their three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, taking eight wickets, which included a career-best five-wicket haul, at an average of 11.12 and an economy rate of 9.53.
The men in green won the series 3-0.
