Pakistan pace bowler Hasan Ali: “If I’m ever considered for captaincy, I’ll embrace it with both hands”

Pakistan seamer Hasan Ali would love to captain his country in the future, saying he would “embrace it with both hands”.
Hasan’s comments come after he served as vice-captain of the Karachi Kings in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Despite being the team’s second-in-command, it didn’t stop the 30-year-old from delivering with the ball as he was the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 17 wickets in 10 matches at an average of 20.47 and an economy rate of 9.03.
“If I’m ever considered for captaincy, I’ll embrace it with both hands,” he told Geo News as quoted by NDTV.
Having dominated with the ball in PSL 10, Hasan was called up to the national team for their three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and remained in red-hot form as he picked up eight wickets, which included a career-best five-wicket haul, at an average of 11.12 and an economy rate of 9.53.
The men in green won the series 3-0.
