Pakistan batsman Mohammad Haris said he works hard on his shots in training and always tries to “play with positive intent”.

Haris has been reaping the rewards for putting in the hard yards as he has scored plenty of runs over the last couple of months.

During the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), the 24-year-old amassed 247 runs in 10 games for the Peshawar Zalmi, which included a top score of 87, at an average of 27.44 and a strike-rate of 148.79.

He then proceeded to feature in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and put on a show as he smashed 179 runs, which included a career-best 107 not out, at an average of 89.50 and a strike-rate of 201.12.

“I always try to play with positive intent… I work hard on my shots in practice and try to back my strengths in the middle,” Haris was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The men in green ended up beating Bangladesh 3-0.
