New Zealand cricketer Daryl Mitchell has admitted that he loves watching Pakistan batsman Fakhar Zaman in action, especially when he is batting against spinners.
Zaman is one of the hardest hitters in Pakistan and has produced a number of memorable performances with the bat over the years.
Recently, he played alongside Mitchell for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and finished as the second-highest run-scorer with 439 runs in 13 matches, which included four fifties, at an average of 33.76 and a strike-rate of 152.96.
“I love to see Fakhar Zaman bat. I just love to see him bat especially when he’s facing spinners,” Mitchell was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After PSL 10, Zaman was picked for Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, but he only featured in one match, where he made one run.
Despite this, the men in green won the series 3-0.
