Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain is determined to cement a spot in the national team for the Asia Cup in September 2025.
Hasnain has been in and out of the national team lately, but is hoping to put up a string of strong performances that convinces the national selectors to pick him.
The 25-year-old didn’t take part in Pakistan’s limited overs tour of New Zealand, where the men in green were beaten 4-1 in the T20Is and 3-0 in the ODIs.
He did, however, feature in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and finished with three wickets in five matches for the Multan Sultans at an average of 52 and an economy rate of 9.75.
“My goal… is to perform my best and make a place in the team for the Asia Cup,” Hasnain was quoted as saying by A Sports.
Following PSL 10, Pakistan faced Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series, but Hasnain was not included in the squad.
The men in green won the series 3-0.
