Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen has confirmed that Pakistan fast bowler Ihsanullah will make his Pakistan Super League (PSL) comeback in 2026.
Ihsanullah became a household name during the 2023 Pakistan Super League (PSL) as he was the second-highest wicket-taker with 22 wickets in 12 matches for the Multan Sultans at an average of 15.77.
An international debut followed soon after, but it was short-lived as an elbow injury derailed his rising trajectory.
Having made a full recovery, Tareen outlined Ihsanullah’s plans for the future, which include playing a full season of domestic cricket.
Following that, the 22-year-old, who was previously clocked at speeds of 152 kph, will feature in PSL 11 in 2026.
“Ihsanullah’s plan is to play a full domestic season and make a comeback next year in the PSL,” Tareen was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Ihsanullah recently played in the National T20 Cup and had a solid campaign as he took four wickets in three matches for Peshawar Region at an average of 25.75 and an economy rate of 8.58.
The Matta native did not feature in Pakistan’s recent three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, which the men in green won 3-0.
