Iconic South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn said wherever he went in Pakistan, he was always reminded of former all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez.

Steyn recently travelled to Pakistan as he was part of the commentary and presentation team for the 2025 Champions Trophy.

His constant dismissals of Hafeez are well known in the cricketing community as he got the 44-year-old out 15 times in international cricket.

“Everywhere I go, it reminds me of Mohammad Hafeez,” Steyn was quoted as saying by Khel Shel on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the Champions Trophy, Pakistan failed to live up to expectations as they were knocked out in the group stage after going winless.

The men in green then travelled to New Zealand to play a limited overs series and began by getting demolished 4-1 in the T20Is.

Things didn’t get better for Pakistan in the three-match ODI series as they were whitewashed 3-0.

Many of the Pakistan players will now be involved in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL).

PSL 10 will be held from April 11 to May 18.
